We have carried out renovation, restoration, sheet-metal and roofing works in prestigious properties, historic buildings and protected sites alike. The renovation of old buildings in particular calls for careful planning, knowledge of traditional working methods and the ability to fit new structures to the building's original character.

Below is a selection of projects in which we have carried out demanding renovation and sheet-metal works in historically significant buildings.

Tamminiemi, Seurasaarentie 15

Tamminiemi

Seurasaarentie 15, Helsinki

Tamminiemi is one of Finland's best-known historic buildings. Completed in 1904, the villa served as the official residence of the Presidents of the Republic from 1940 to 1982 and is especially known as the home of President Urho Kekkonen. Over the decades many significant political decisions were made in the house, giving it an exceptional place in Finnish history. We carried out repair works at the site with respect for the building's valuable cultural-historical character.

Töölö Church, Topeliuksenkatu 4

Töölö Church

Topeliuksenkatu 4, Helsinki

Completed in 1930, Töölö Church is among the most notable church buildings in Helsinki and represents 1920s classicism. Designed by architect Hilding Ekelund, the church is known for its distinctive architecture and high-quality art and interior solutions. We carried out renovation and restoration works on several building elements, respecting the building's historical value and original appearance.

The Main Post Office, Elielinaukio 2

The Main Post Office

Elielinaukio 2, Helsinki

The Helsinki Main Post Office is one of the capital's best-known functionalist buildings. Completed in the 1930s, it has for decades been a central part of the cityscape in central Helsinki. We carried out demanding copper sheet-metal works that combined modern execution with respect for the building's original architecture.

Itäinen Puistotie 4, Helsinki

The Embassy of Italy is located in Helsinki's distinguished embassy district in Kaivopuisto. In this historically valuable building we carried out repair and sheet-metal works, emphasising precision, a refined finish and the preservation of the building's original details.

At the Embassy of Türkiye we carried out repair and sheet-metal works on the building's exterior envelope. Working in international diplomatic buildings calls for particular care, precise scheduling and a high standard of quality.

HSS Pavilion, Liuskasaari

HSS Pavilion

Liuskasaari, Helsinki

The HSS Pavilion stands in the maritime setting of Liuskasaari off Helsinki. Founded in 1893, Helsingfors Segelsällskap is one of Finland's oldest sailing clubs, and the present pavilion was completed in 1949. The area was also involved in the sailing events of the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. We carried out repair and sheet-metal works in demanding maritime conditions, respecting the historic building.

The Poet's Home

Flensborgintörmä 2, Porvoo

Runoilijakoti (The Poet's Home) is located in the Old Town of Porvoo, one of Finland's oldest and best-preserved wooden-house milieus. The area's red-ochre buildings are part of the Porvoo River landscape and form nationally valuable built heritage. We carried out facade works with respect for the character and traditional appearance of the old building stock.

Lepsämäntie 15, Klaukkala

Arkadian yhteislyseo is a school in Klaukkala whose red-brick building is a recognisable local landmark. We carried out sheet-metal works at the site, aiming for a careful and long-lasting result.
